Definitely one of the reasons why I’m such a huge animal lover today. This man was the king of compassion and he taught me so much in regards to showing animals love and giving them respect. I realised today that with his loss, I lost some of my sense of adventure. I just don’t go outside as much as I used to. But now that I have come to know this, I’ll try to regain that quality that Irwin expressed in his 44 years. I miss you Croc Hunter. 6 goddamn years. I miss you so. Ah, I remember the day he died very well. I used to watch his show every night before bed, he taught me everything I know about wild animals. The day he died, my mom called me up to her room and she was like “Steve Irwin died…” I actually cried. I miss you, and thanks for everything! ): I have a few bumper stickers that he sent me and his autograph, bah, I watched his shows EVERY day on Animal Planet. Happy birthday and rest in peace Steve. &lt;3 I saw this on my dash and about shit myself because today is my birthday as well. then I realized this post was old and his birthday is February 22nd. awh it’s been 6 years!? damn. RIP, you were amazing! karina you have the same bday as him..
